First Week of School
Thursday, September 18th, 2008Hello to everyone!
So…Tuesday was B’s first day of preschool at Primrose Academy where she will be spending her Tuesday and Thursday mornings from about 8:30-11:30. I was anxious about taking her because I wasn’t too sure how she would react. Luckily I didn’t have to worry too much as she quickly started playing with the toys and puzzles in her classroom. When I came back to get her, she was excited to see me and had already done 2 pieces of artwork for us! (The teacher was informed that Braelyn’s name is only spelled with 1 n!
)
She told me that she had fun and her teacher said that she had been very well-behaved and that she is very bright because she knew all of her colors and shapes. She went potty in the big kid potty but didn’t eat her snack, which is really no surprise to any of us because she is the PICKIEST eater in the world and her diet consists of about only about 10 things. Her teacher gave her a backpack that she can take her things to and fro in and she got a progress report for the day saying what she did, what mood she was in and a few other details about the day.
When we dropped her off this morning, she was excited to play on the playground and she was happy to see Mrs. Karen (the owner) and go to her classroom. Matt said she wasn’t upset when he left the room at all. When I arrived to pick her up, they were on the playground singing songs and playing with a parachute. She actually ate her snack today (YAY) and was very excited to use the glue for an art project. Our little baby is now a pre-school girl and we are excited that she gets to have some fun adventures, meet new friends and that mommy gets a few hours off!! Until next time….have a great day!!
Love,
MLB Mama
P.S. Keep your Diamondbacks fingers and toes crossed - - there is still a glimmer of hope……..
