Hi Everyone!

I hope your Friday is going well :)  I wanted to get some pictures up from our Mother’s Day brunch this year where we had a wonderful weekend visit with Sheri.  We went to a place called The Farm, which is a really cool outdoor event center that hosts all kinds of things, including weddings.  We looked into having our wedding there which is how we know about it.  The weather was perfect and the food was really good too.  After we got done there, we took Sheri to the Phoenix Children’s Museum to pass the time until her flight left.  After we got back from the airport, Braelyn took a nap with Gramma Bonnie and I too took a well-deserved nap (instead of working out!) :)  We ordered Italian take out for dinner and relaxed with Braelyn.   I hope all of you mothers out there enjoyed your special day and here’s to hoping that they create a year-round celebration of the HARDEST (but most rewarding) JOB ON EARTH!!!

Love,

MLB Mama

Sounds like a lovely day! Glad to hear you got to take a nap too! It’s amazing how its those little things that can be such a treat when you are a mama. Thanks for sharing…

It was a very special day especially because we got to enjoy sharing it with Sheri this year. We missed having Nana and Grammy there but they had their busy schedules so they were there with us in thought. Thank you, Lisa, for organizing Mom’s Day this year and thank you, Matt, for taking the food orders and paying the bill! We have some remarkable Moms as role models and we should celebrate more than once a year and be thankful for all that Moms do and are for all of us!! Thank you Moms!!! (Don’t worry, Dads, your day is coming up next month)

Glad to see the pictures from Mom’s Day at the Farm. That is a good place to go eat…very unique place. I’m glad to see and hear that Sheri was able to make it over and share the event. You should start a movement naming one day a week, Mothers Day, like the boys did many years ago when we had Sonday named for US, or at least that’s what Jeff and Christopher told me!
All my Love to the Mom’s in our family..

Gosh, we don’t always appreciate mothers until we are one.
Takes special women and you are some.
